God has a desired future for all of us. Whatever He sets in motion will automatically be accomplished. Nonetheless, all of us must have a vision or a dream for our lives. Vision lets us see what is needed to remain committed to a particular process.

Each of us has challenges and situations that we need God to fix. Often, he sends the answer, but we don’t recognize it. God encourages us to start writing when he speaks so that we will be able to act quickly to unleash his promises. Your future is secure in God, and when he speaks, a sealing takes place. This sealing assures us that irrespective of what happens around us, we will be able to handle life’s pressures.
Sometimes, what God has spoken is not what we are currently experiencing. God operates in chromos (time) and has set the blueprint for everything pertaining to you to fall into place at a specific time. The Bible says that Samuel, under instructions from God, anointed David as king over Israel, but this did not materialize until many years later. God showed Joseph through a dream what would happen to him in terms of leading others, but this did not come to pass until he was thirty years of age.
Though some things have been slow in coming into your life, it does not mean that they will not happen. The word for you right now is to WAIT. In waiting, be patient, trusting that God will work things out. We often become impatient when we try to alter the time already set by God. This often happens when we allow our emotions to get the best of us. Sarah became impatient when she could not have a child and allowed her maidservant to sleep with her husband - an ungodly union that produced Ishmael. This same Ishmael was a thorn in the flesh of Israel. Impatience will only lead to a life of disruption and chaos.
It is not worth creating quick fixes when your present is already bought and gift-wrapped. No one opens a Christmas gift until Christmas day. Rest assured, God does not want you to open any door before its time. Today, you may be rushing God because you sat down and planned your life to the wire, and it seems time is running out. My friend, God’s plans are more significant, secure, and problem-resistant than yours. In Jeremiah 29:11, we are reminded that God has a plan for us that will secure our future and allow us to hope. This statement alone should calm our hearts and bring peace to our minds. Of the trillions of people who live on earth, God thinks about you.
The vision that God is and has given you will produce growth. It will bring you into sharp focus to achieve your full potential. Lack of vision creates confusion. Writing down your vision allows others to become what I call ‘destiny helpers’. These are people who will be able to run with the vision you have and move them into action. God will always send these people to provide support in various ways. I often view everyone that comes into my life as a destiny helper. Whatever form they come in, there is always a lesson to learn from their presence.
In Joseph's case, his destiny helper came in the form of a prison inmate. Did I say in prison? Yes. You see, we often try to create the ideal situation and dictate to God how he should send assistance. But many times, our help comes in uncommon ways. What if Joseph was too arrogant to speak to the butler? He would not have received that favour bestowed on him two years later.
The lesson here is to realize that each person enters your life for a season and a reason. After it is over, they will move on, and others will take their place. We must then be wise in how we relate to them. Relate to everyone, but choose your core well because the core will run with your vision. Look at your friendships and establish today if the people around you are destiny helpers or destiny demolitionists.
